Ijuí, 147 in Petrópolis, this diner offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for family gatherings or a casual dinner with friends. The menu at Pueblo Casa Mexicana is a real treat for anyone who loves traditional Mexican dishes. From sizzling fajitas to hearty burritos, there's something for everyone. One of the standout dishes that keeps customers coming back is their tacos. Whether you opt for the classic carne asada or want to try something a little different with grilled shrimp, each taco is packed with flavor. The tortillas are freshly made, soft, and perfectly toasted on the outside-just the right balance of crispy and chewy.

Another fan favorite is their enchiladas. These are loaded with rich, smoky sauces, and the cheese melts beautifully on top. Pair it with a side of guacamole made from ripe, creamy avocados, and you’ve got a meal that will transport you straight to Mexico. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you get your fill and then some. Whether you're in the mood for something spicy or a more mellow flavor profile, the staff at Pueblo Casa Mexicana are always happy to help you customize your meal to suit your taste.

There’s also something to be said about the value you get here. While the food is top-notch, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It’s not the kind of place that breaks the bank, making it ideal for those looking to enjoy a great meal without worrying about spending too much.

Somewhat too expensive and the nachos are just shredded cheese atop tortilla chips probably microwaved. But the burritos get as close as I've had in Brazil to the authentic Mexico flavor.

This food was delicious. We ordered a shared fajitas meal where we could build our own and it gives plenty of food and the option for each person to make things how you want. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning on the beans and other toppings was good. The tortilla shells we're different than I'm used to, but they worked perfectly with this mix of food so I didn't mind. Was just a fun place to go with good service and good food. We ordered it again the next day through Uber Eats and it was just as good, just a smaller portions, but I think the price was cheaper. Either way, we enjoyed it and I'd recommend it to others.

Awesome Great price for the quality! Very nice staff also. The Texan Nachos with Guacamole were really great!
